The owner of supermarket Best Mart without his aim has been a price war in Suriname unleashed. In connection with the commemoration of 160 years of Chinese Settlement in Suriname he has recently lowered more than 4,000 articles to well below cost. It runs just storm in the case.

Customers come from far and wide to make the many offers. The effect is visible. Other major supermarkets are now forced to also decrease, which has not really succeeded in their prices. Thus they will end up losing a lot of customers.

The trend is actually used by the politician Paul Somohardjo of Pertjajah Luhur. In-store goods at cost were sold and there was a run. It is, in any case, are all laudable. Indeed, it is the people that this has more advantage.
